Uniting for Ukraine is the United States Government program that allows Ukrainians seeking refuge to travel to the U.S. with the support of a sponsor.

Ukrainians and potential American sponsors can find each other, message back and forth, and make an informed decision about sponsorship.

After they connect on Welcome Connect, sponsors and Ukrainians can apply for the Uniting for Ukraine program together.

For Ukrainians

Are you a Ukrainian seeking a sponsor for yourself, your family, or your group under Uniting for Ukraine?

Thank you for your interest in using Welcome Connect. We have had a very high number of interested Ukrainians. To provide a positive experience on the platform for sponsors and beneficiaries, sign-up for Ukrainians will be limited each signup period. Previously, registration was open on the 15th of each month at a designated time until the threshold was reached, upon which registration would close until the following month. Due to the substantially higher need encountered this month, we are now re-evaluating our process and may introduce changes moving forward. Please check back here for updates in the coming weeks.

Note: A single registration can include multiple people - it is not necessary to make an account for each individual within your family or group that is seeking sponsorship. Joining Welcome Connect is not an application to Uniting for Ukraine, nor are you required to apply for the program. Sponsors are not formally vetted by Welcome Connect.

For U.S. Sponsors

Are you interested in supporting a Ukrainian who wants to come to the United States?

Build a profile on Welcome Connect and make yourself viewable to Ukrainians seeking a sponsor. You can then receive messages from Ukrainians, and determine if you want to send any formal requests for sponsorship.
